We are reminding residents to remain vigilant and take simple steps to help keep themselves and their homes safe.

Even in generally low-crime areas, unexpected callers or unusual behaviour can occur and may cause concern.

Please consider the following advice:

Do not open your door to anyone you do not know or are not expecting.

Always check who is there using a window, spyhole, or doorbell camera before answering.

Keep doors and windows securely locked, particularly during the evening and overnight.

If something or someone makes you feel uncomfortable, trust your instincts and do not engage.

Report any suspicious behaviour so appropriate action can be taken.

Your local neighbourhood team will continue to patrol the area and respond to concerns where necessary.
